2.11 Special Functions Overview
The E16 special functions, accessible in the control settings, affects the behaviour of the knob and its control operation. A special function can be assigned for each control. The 'Special' menu options are:-

| Function | Description | |
| Off | Rotate 0-127 | Control will operate with default behaviour. Turning the knob will control the output over a 0-127 range. |
| Snapshot Morph | A to B range | Snapshot morph allows two knob values to be captured. These are stored as position A and position B. The A-B values then set the range for the control to morph between the two. |
| Looper Capture | Toggles loopers capture mode | Looper capture enables knob value changes to be recorded when in the control view. Capture will arm all of the controls for ready to record each one when turning a knob. |
| Looper Playback | Toggles loopers global playback | Sets the behaviour when pressing the knob in the control view. This option enables the playback start / pause of recorded loop automation. |
| Swap Destination | Dest 1 or Dest 2 | Selects the which single output destination, 1 or 2, is controlled with the knob. Tapping a knob switches the destinations. The parameter will display underscored when destination 2 is the target. Output will be to both destinations if 'Swap Destination' is not configured. Each of the two destinations can also have its own knob LED colour. |
| Random | Randomize all values. | Randomize the parameter values for the page controls to values within the parameter ranges. The encoder is configured as the random generator, turn to set a % amount. Press to generate randomization. |
| Pitch Bend Wheel | PB Controller | Configures the control as a single destination pitch bend controller. The bipolar control is centred at 8192 in the 14-bit 16,383 range. Delay and speed settings can be applied to the return to centre behaviour. The controller does not have a push or dest 2 option when set to PB. E16 can accept a maximum of 10 instances of PB per scene. |
