Calibration: OXI Coral manual

Calibrate the CV/Oct tracking if pitch drifts. You need a well-calibrated ±1 V source.

1. Turn Amp Atk, Amp Dr, Sust, Mod Atk, Mod Dr and F.Reso fully clockwise, and the F.Env trimmer fully counter-clockwise.
2. Unplug all patch cables from the module.
3. Hold the encoder for 5 seconds until the ring shows the green pattern.
4. Tap the encoder; the ring turns red.
5. Patch the OCT CV input and send -1 V from a well-calibrated source. (On the OXI One, C1 outputs -1 V.)
6. Tap the encoder once; the ring shows red and amber.
7. Send +1 V to the OCT input and tap the encoder again. (On the OXI One, C3 outputs +1 V.)
8. Tap the encoder again. If it worked, the green confirmation animation appears.

NOTE Depending on your voltage source, -1 V may correspond to a different MIDI note.

10.1 Fix Tuning If You Only Use MIDI

This fix is for MIDI only. Use it if your Coral plays out of tune after installing 3.0. In that case its calibration file was replaced by the one in the old Factory package. You can fix it in one minute, with no cables.

1. Unplug every cable from the Coral's CV inputs. Leave MIDI connected if you want.
2. Turn Amp Atk, Amp Dr, Sust, Mod Atk, Mod Dr and F.Reso fully clockwise, and the F.Env trimmer fully counter-clockwise.
3. Hold the encoder down for about 5 seconds, until the LEDs turn cyan and white.
4. Click the encoder 3 times, waiting a second between clicks. The LEDs change colour after each click.
5. After the third click the LEDs light up. This is normal: the Coral has already saved the fix.
6. Turn the Coral off and on again.

Your Coral now plays in tune from MIDI. Set your knobs back where you like them.

NOTE This fix does not calibrate the OCT CV input. If you play Coral from CV/Oct, use the full calibration above with a well-calibrated ±1 V source.
